Smith's own set, with his signature to the fly leaf in volumes II, V, VIII and IX, inscriptions to his wife Edith in volumes III, IV and VII plus a later photographic bookplate of L.M. Smith in volumes I and VI. A typed letter signed from Smith on British Institute of Industrial Art stationery is loosely inserted. Original gilt titled blue cloth, spines variously sunned, some light marks. Smith had assisted in Booth's original survey four decades earlier. Item #51242
