Sole edition, small folio, (xx), 136, 121-269, (3) pp. Title page printed in red and black, browned with some marks and neatly laid down, brief later inscription to rear blank, marbled endpapers, sides and edges. 19th century half calf, gilt banded spine with a green label, some rubbing to extremities. A detailed account of Charles I's third parliament, which lasted a year and was largely concerned with funding for Charles' military campaigns, something Parliament was unwilling to grant without concessions that Charles opposed. Following its dissolution it would be another 11 years before it would be recalled. Wing F2422. Item #49558
