(xliv), 528, (4); xl, 521, (3) pp. Publisher's gilt decorated midnight blue morocco on Rossetti's own design, patterned endpapers, the armorial bookplate of an Agnes Maria Clarke to the front pastedowns. Spine faded to brown, some light wear, foxing mostly confined to the front and rear leaves, an attractive set. A complete works in all but name, W.M. Rossetti listing in his bibliography only a handful of pieces that weren't included, and also many more which appeared in this edition for the first time. First published in 1886, most sets are found in the cloth binding which uses the same gilt design, these leather bound sets are much less common. Item #44775
