Manchester: G. Bradshaw, 1830. Two large decorative folding maps of the northern and midland counties of England, both with bright original full hand colouring. I. Map dimensions 98.5 x 126.5 cm, showing the extents from Lancaster down to Nantwich and Tadcaster across to the Irish Sea; II. Map dimensions 131 x 123 cm, showing the extents from Nantwich down to Tetbury and Grantham across to Ellesmere. Both maps with decorative printed borders, dissected in to sections (32 and 48 respectively), mounted on linen and trimmed with silk, housed in the same contemporary book style two part box of tan full calf which has gilt to the spine. The case worn but sound and with darkening to the spine, offsetting to the first map caused by the calligraphic title, else very good examples of both maps. Item #44433
