First edition. 544 pp. Publisher's half black cloth over lettered red boards, red lettering to the spine, signed by Stanley Kubrick's wife Christiane on the title page, with a mounted CD featuring a 1966 interview with Stanley Kubrick and an original 12 frame strip of 70 mm film from "2001: A Space Odyssey". Illustrated throughout in colour and black and white. Slight fading to the spine, very good overall. The leaves are tabulated throughout, colour coded by each of Kurbick's films. This substantial work has since been reprinted, though in a reduced format and issued without the CD or strip of film. Item #38313
