Parry to the head of the title page. Geological frontispiece map of England and Wales plus a long hand coloured plate of strata, another plate of geological apparatus and a table - all folding. Very good. Although the title page states "Part I" no further material was published. Conybeare was "one of the band of pioneers [who] raised the study of rocks and fossils into the science of geology. The chief investigator and describer of the early discoveries of marine fossil reptiles in Britain" (Challinor p. 185). Item #34802
