London: Printed for and sold by Carington Bowles, [1770]. Small oblong 4to, (viii) pp, followed by a general map and 103 strip maps on 52 leaves. Title and final map browned, minor marginal tear to the top edge of the final leaf. Modern full morocco, maroon spine label, a very good copy. Originally published in John Ogilby's Britannia (1675), the maps were reduced and reissued by John Senex in 1719. Further issues appeared in 1742 and 1757, and initially with this title in 1767, minor alterations being made as time went on. Chubb CXLII, giving the date as 1770; other sources claiming 1780. Scarce, with OCLC listing only 3 copies - British Library, Dartmouth College and the Dewberry Library. Item #33975
