Period style 19th century black morocco, covers with blind stamped rules and gilt tooled flower cornerpieces, recently rebacked retaining the original backstrip, a.e.g. Reprinted twelve times before the century was up and a classic of English theology - "...a masterpiece of style" (Encyc.
