London: Blackie & Son Limited, [c.1950]. 8vo. 92 pp. Publisher's gilt lettered and decorated green cloth, pictorial endpapers with an early ownership inscription to the front. 72 colour plates. Some mild discolouration to the cloth, two of the black and white vignettes quite neatly coloured in by an early owner, loss to the top margin of pp. 63-64 not affecting the text, else a decent copy. Bringing together the verses and illustration of the "Flower Fairies of the Wayside", "...Garden" and "...Trees". As with many of Barker's books, this copy is undated, however the general appearance suggests a first or very early edition of this collection. Item #44410
