Walter Dunne, 1904. 4to, (xiv), 386, (2) pp. Publisher's black full morocco recently rebacked in black leather, the spine with raised bands, both boards with a large gilt device featuring several crowns and a central garland, this incorporating some pink and blue detailing, much worn, embossed endpapers, all edges gilt. Printed in red and black throughout, illustrations to the preliminaries and with decorative initial letters. A beautifully printed work originally published in a limited edition of 400 copies by the Essex House Press the year before. This American edition, published by arrangement with the Press, is normally found in cloth, this copy being a deluxe leather bound version. Inserted at the front of the volume is a hand painted japon leaf, featuring the embossed seal of the "Cambridge Society Incorporated", reads "In witness that this copy of the Westminster Edition of The Prayer Book of King Edward VII has been specially bound for...", with the space for the name left blank.
