Publisher's blue cloth backed printed wrappers, housed in what appears to be the original postage tube from when it was first sent out by the publisher's (the stamps are pre-decimilisation). Decorative title page incorporating a decorative border illustrated with numerous coats of arms, two text leaves plus 28 leaves featuring reproductions of 30 maps, whole or in detail. Some wear to the fore edges of the covers and the early maps, now neatly repaired with tissue on the versos, else very good. Item #43162
