(vi), xviii, 436 pp. Publisher's blindstamped red cloth, gilt to the spine, an early 20th century pictorial bookplate to the front pastedown with a corresponding gift inscription on the verso of the opposing free endpaper, near contemporary press cuttings regarding the author and the subject affixed to the succeeding leaves plus one to the last page of contents and another to a page at rear, colour illustrated cigarette card to the title page and verso. A handful of illustrations in the text, 5 full page colour plates plus another folding and black and white.
