Later full calf, spine with raised bands, gilt lettered red label. 4 folding plans, including a handsome large street plan of the City, Westminster and Southwark and another of a similar size of the environs of the city, 14 (of 17) ward plans, 13 (of 17) views plus 4 plates of the "arms of the City Companies &c.". Slight browning to the edges of the first and last leaves, the large street plan with neat repairs to the verso, older ones with paper and more recent with tissue, generally very good. The ward plans being reduced versions of those published in the other standard 18th century surveys of London such as Strype's editions of Stow's Survey and Maitland's History. Howgego, no. 157 for the large plan engraved by Ashby. Item #40654
