Folding map illustrating the British sphere of influence on the peninsula from Kedah down to Singapore, original colour highlighting the districts, dissected into 20 sections and mounted on linen, folds between original dark green cloth, Stanford's printed label to the upper board and their advertisements to the inner cover and the folded end section. Very good. First published in 1892, the map went on to be reissued by Stanford a number of times in the early decades of the 20th century. Item #36274
