Map in four parts each measuring 56 x 83 cm, i.e. c.112 x 166 cm if conjoined, each dissected into eighteen sections and mounted on linen, folds into original Stanford's red cloth slipcase with their printed label to the upper board, marbled paper to the folded end sections of the maps with printed title labels to one side. Slight toning along the folds, else very good. A very large folding map of Egypt extending from the Mediterranean coast down to the parallel with the upper stretch of the Gulf of Suez, large inset plans of Cairo and Alexandria to the lower and upper left corners with smaller plans of Port Said, Suez and Ismailia to the right.
