First English edition, folio, (iv), xxxii, 640 pp. Reproductions of the original woodcut illustrations throughout, small stamped limitation number (1,720 of 3,000 copies) to the top corner of the title, mild foxing to the first and last few leaves, small patches of light offsetting to the free endpapers from an old covering for the binding. Original vellum, spine titled in black, some mild marks otherwise an excellent copy. "...the first systematic treatise on mining and metallurgy and one of the first technological books of modern times...
