London: The Ordnance Survey, 1896. Map dimensions 94 x 61 cm, overall 102 x 70 cm. Annoted in both pencil and ink with several areas as well as the river hand coloured, including a section marked "proposed site of new Charing Cross station, 1924", Stanford label to the lower margin, sections browned to edges with one fold torn, one cloth and one marbled paper end section once folded, some rubbing and light wear. Showing part of London that has largely vanished, the area now covered by numerous developments including the Festival Hall and the National Theatre. Item #28511
