First edition, 8vo, (iv), 359, (1), 40 advertisement pp. The author's own copy, albeit without any ownership marks, but with a typed letter signed from Brigid O'Donovan on BBC stationery to her loosely inserted, dated June 1937, thanking Robins for lending her the book and returning it, "I... have now an extremely vivid picture of the days of the Suffragette Movement. Thank you very much for giving me an opportunity to read it..." and mentioning a talk that Robins had been consulted about. Original gilt titled green cloth, slightly dull and soiled. Scarce. A novel based on Robins' successful play, "Votes for Women!" Before working at the BBC O'Donovan had been T.S. Eliot's secretary at Faber and Faber. Item #36017
