Oxford: At the Clarendon Press, 1925. 8vo. xx, 1092 pp. Contemporary prize binding by Bickers and Son for Bromley High School for Girls, red half calf over matching cloth sides, spine with raised bands, gilt lettered direct to one panel and decorated to the others, the college crest in gilt to the upper board and their contemporary prize inscription to the front flyleaf, marbled endpapers, top edge gilt. Slight fading to the sides, very good. A collection of prose compiled by the same editor of the more famous anthology of English verse, derived from sources as diverse as William Caxton, John Milton, Edward Gibbon, Jane Austen and Joseph Conrad amongst numerous others.
